USDA’s Center for Veterinary Biologics grants conditional licensure to CPerf LLV (formerly BE-101) — BiomEdit’s first commercial product and, per the company, the first genetically engineered probiotic biologic licensed for any animal species worldwide. Pivotal study showed a 48.7% reduction in necrotic enteritis-associated mortality. BiomEdit has launched a commercial evaluation program with three major U.S. poultry producers across 35+ million broilers and has initiated its Series C round.
